Selecting the Correct Model
It is vital to ensure that the model selection for the vehicle being assessed is entered correctly. Failure to do so may result in invalid guide numbers, incorrect labour and paint application times or incorrect paint materials and parts prices, i.e., an inaccurate estimate.
It is essential to select the correct SUB MODEL - these are usually listed in specification order, from lowest to highest. However if, for example, the model sheet contains both saloon and estate body types, they may be grouped together as saloons and estates, in which case the complete list of sub models should be checked thoroughly before making the selection.
It is also essential to select the correct build date, otherwise the incorrect parts will be generated.
