Audatex - a Solera company global provider of claims solutions

Aggregated Times Statement - Audatex Technical Committee - updated 23 July 2007

Audatex provides estimating data which has been obtained from the original vehicle manufacturer. Data and times contained in the system may vary in respect of how associated operations (aggregated times) are treated from manufacturer to manufacturer. Different manufacturers' vehicles using shared design and technology platforms may exhibit different repair methods.

Any additional items selected should form part of an appropriate repair method agreed between work provider and repairer under current industry standards requirements. This may also include the use of Thatcham data and methodology (or other agreed data and methodology), in addition to estimating data provided by Audatex.

Manually selected operations that are already included elsewhere within Audatex as an associated operation (duplications) will be automatically eliminated by the system. However, in rare instances a vehicle manufacturer's data may include a part displacement rather than full removal. In these cases, users are advised to consider and choose the most appropriate repair method and reflect this in the Audatex estimate.

Inputs to an assessment should at all times reflect the relevance of the operation required to complete an appropriate and safe repair.
