Online Claims System Streamlines the Pet Insurance Process

Audatex, has partnered with RSA Insurance Group, (providers of award-winning insurance products and services) to develop the UK’s first online claims system for pet insurance, reducing customer journey time for repeat medication and ongoing treatments to a matter of only minutes. This makes it quicker and easier for customers and vets, reduces expense and our carbon footprint.

Audatex’s Pet Automated Workflow System (PAWS) deployed by RSA is augmented by Audatex’s powerful new scoring engine, designed to utilise and implement insurers’ own configurable business logic to help manage workflow and workload better.

The platform, which is currently handling over 400 claims a week, allows customers to self-authenticate and submit claims to be paid directly for their pet’s medication in a matter of minutes, rather than days or weeks. It also allows them to track the progress of their claim in real time, so no need for them to call us for an update.

Commenting on the partnership, David Frost, Product Manager at Audatex UK said: “We are thrilled to have partnered with RSA Insurance Group, to enable them to provide a much quicker turnaround time for pet claims to its customers. The pet insurance industry is still very paper heavy when it comes to making a claim and Audatex is focused on transforming the process into a seamless and straight forward digital journey for all”.

Andrew Moore, director of Pet Claims at RSA, said: “This ground breaking initiative transforms our pet claims process by making it much quicker and easier for customers to submit their claims It also reduces our carbon footprint and eliminates the need for vets to fill in unnecessary paperwork, allowing them to focus on looking after our customers’ pets. We are committed to providing the best service possible to our customers and Audatex were critical in helping us deliver the new online claims management capabilities.”
