Communication is key with the launch of Audatex Update
8th February 2010
Claims solutions provider, Audatex UK, is further investing in its communications programme with the launch of Audatex Update, a technical e-bulletin for customers, especially insurance engineers and vehicle damage assessors who may not have access to the latest website updates. The bulletin will be regularly emailed to customers, providing news and FAQs from the Audatex Service Desk and Technical Committee, improving communications across all parties and providing data to generate the most accurate vehicle damage assessments.
The launch of Audatex Update, which mirrors information contained on the Audatex website and within its Global Claims Centre (GCC) system for bodyshops, follows a move last year by the Audatex Technical Committee to step up its communications drive and further raise its profile. The Technical Committee incorporates members of the Audatex insurer and bodyshop user community and is dedicated to encouraging users to take advantage of the vast support and expertise on hand. It provides a transparent, objective examination of technical queries raised by Audatex customers and through Audatex Update users will be able to stay on top of the latest findings and news.
Feedback from the Audatex 2009 Customer Satisfaction Survey suggests that engineers and vehicle damage assessors who may be away from their desks or out on the road, are not benefiting from the data updates and technical information posted on the Audatex website. In response to this Audatex has created Audatex Update as a concise bulletin, supplied as a PDF attachment in a standard email. Links to the Audatex website are provided from the bulletin, but the top line information is provided in an easy, ‘at a glance’ format.
Quick to download, Audatex Update will be published and distributed regularly, ensuring all Audatex customers gain access to the latest news at the same time, regardless of their internet access. As the Technical Committee and Service Desk work hand in hand to respond to queries raised by Audatex customers, the bulletin will cover everything from interim fixes to vehicle-specific data anomalies and updates on paint processes, to news on vehicle manufacturer repair methods, all of which will further support agreement on the nature and cost of repair.
Chris Oliver, Managing Director of the Essex-based AJC Wilson bodyshop group, and Chairman of the Audatex Technical Committee says, “The launch of Audatex Update is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring Audatex customers are kept up-to-date on system and data developments. The bulletin will enable Audatex to reach a wider audience with information that is essential to the effective usage of its system. By providing direct links to the Audatex website we are improving efficiency and meeting the changing needs of the marketplace.”
“The next issue of Audatex Update will be hitting inboxes soon, helping us stay in touch with customers and deliver news designed to help them get the best out of their Audatex service.”
