Audatex partners with QBE Europe in launch of new motor claims management strategy

10th May 2012

Audatex UK has announced a new partnership with QBE Europe, the business insurance specialist.  QBE has appointed Audatex as its preferred estimating system provider and is proactively encouraging body shops throughout the UK to use the Audatex system as the conduit for submitting vehicle damage assessments to QBE’s in-house engineering team.

“As a growing business, we identified an opportunity to streamline the way we handle commercial motor claims.  The use of Audatex for consistent, quality vehicle damage assessment is central to this strategy,” explained Russell England, Senior Claims Engineer, QBE Europe.

QBE has expanded its Chelmsford-based engineering team and has invested in comprehensive training in the use of the AudaEnterpriseGold estimating and claims management system.  “With around 2,000 body shops in the UK using AudaEnterpriseGold, Audatex gives us access to a trained and certified body shop network through which to manage our motor claims and repairs.   Complemented by our in-house engineering resource, we’re in a great position to increase efficiency and improve management visibility and control,” said England.

Designed with an emphasis on estimating efficiency, AudaEnterpriseGold is the most widely used estimating system in the UK and is the first choice for many leading insurers, manufacturers and body shops.  As well as providing extensive vehicle model data upon which to build comprehensive vehicle damage assessments, the system enables highly-effective communications between repairers and engineers, enabling faster approvals and reduced cycle times.

Paul Sykes, Sales & Operations Director, Audatex UK said: “We’re delighted that Audatex is able to support QBE’s drive to re-structure its motor claims process and proud that, through our system, we can provide the QBE team with ready access to such a broad, high-quality body shop user community. ”

Matthew Crane, Managing Director – Motor, at QBE adds:  “We know that vehicle down-time following an accident can have a significant financial effect on a business and our aim is always to pay valid claims as soon as possible. Working with Audatex and being able to access their integrated supply chain means that we’ll be able to pass on the benefits of faster processes, enhanced knowledge and information directly to our customers and help them get back on the road more quickly.”
