A day in the life of Adil an apprentice developer here at Audatex

Hi, my name is Adil and I’m an apprentice based at the Rickmansworth office for Audatex.

I really enjoy the atmosphere at Audatex; it’s a real mixture of people with a variety of experience, across a great team. There are quiet periods that let you focus on your tasks, and other times it’s really lively and you get interesting conversations pop-up from nowhere about my colleagues projects. This is a great opportunity for me to learn about other job roles and get some real hands on experiences. The most challenging part of the apprenticeship is having to get used to a working environment. It’s very new to me but has been such a great experience so far.

I have been able to develop my teamwork skills, alongside other apprentices both in Rickmansworth and Theale. My communication skills have really come on in terms of getting across any problems I am having and seeking help when I need it.

To be put into an environment full of experienced and knowledgeable developers is such a fantastic opportunity, and one of the many ways Audatex has helped me and fellow apprentices to really thrive in their job roles. It has given me the drive to be the best developer I can be. It will allow me to pick up valuable learnings when it comes to programming, having a wide spread variety of experience, both good and bad, that I can learn from and use going forward.

I would absolutely recommend my apprenticeship experience. There is a fantastic support system here at Audatex from all members of the team and they will really push you to be the best that you can be.

Where do I see myself in five years time? I would love to still be at Audatex, with a history of successful projects seen through to completion, looking forward to my next challenge.
